چکیده

We aimed to investigate whether the addition of whole-body vibration (WBV) resistance training (RT) will be more beneficial in improving lower limbs muscle strength, power and sprinting performance than RT alone young basketball players. recruited 30 players participate four weeks assessments. They were randomized into WBV group (VRTG, n=15) a conventional (RTG, n=15), performed 3 times per week. At beginning end back squat one-repetition maximum (1RMBS), Countermovement jump (CMJ), Squat (SJ), 10 meters (10m) 20 sprint (20m) performed. found that: a) VRTG when added can induce greater improvements 1RMBS (percentage difference [PD], 8.4%, p < 0.001), CMJ (PD = 4.7%, 0.001) SJ 1.6, 0.02) alone. In contrary, significant time*group interactions for at 10m (p=0.08, F=3.2) 20m (p=0.17, F=1.93). An additional 4-week program proved effective limb strength When on platform (with accurate constant stimulus parameters), exercises superior their forms resulted gains measures while remained unchanged.

Effects of whole body vibration training on muscle strength and sprint performance in sprint-trained athletes.

Despite the expanding use of Whole Body Vibration training among athletes, it is not known whether adding Whole Body Vibration training to the conventional training of sprint-trained athletes will improve speed-strength performance. Twenty experienced sprint-trained athletes (13 male symbol, 7 female symbol, 17-30 years old) were randomly assigned to a Whole Body Vibration group (n=10: 6 male s...

Effects of Whole-body Vibration Training on Sprint Running Kinematics and Explosive Strength Performance.

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of 6 wk of whole body vibration (WBV) training on sprint running kinematics and explosive strength performance. Twenty-four volunteers (12 women and 12 men) participated in the study and were randomised (n = 12) into the experimental and control groups. The WBV group performed a 6-wk program (16-30 min·d(-1), 3 times a week) on a vibration pla...

Strength training effects of whole-body vibration?

Whole-body vibration (WBV) has been suggested to have a beneficial effect on muscle strength. Manufacturers of vibration platforms promote WBV as an effective alternative or complement to resistance training. This study aimed to review systematically the current (August 2005) scientific support for effects of WBV on muscle strength and jump performance. MEDLINE and SPORT DISCUS were searched fo...
